finally recieved the new 4kw(s). decided to get some pics. if it didnt void the warranty i would show ya the guts but i cant sorry //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif the guys at the shop have opened theirs up but didnt take pics but was told they are MUCH beefier than the old model.

only thing i dont like about them is they look similar to Mcintosh somewhat

to me at least. others may not agree but they have that choice

oh and if u dont know these new 4kws are strappable internal now instead of having to buy the module. Straps with a headphone type jack from one to another. its different thats for sure.

I dont know about you but im not that big of a fan for the Side mount Power terminals... What do u think

yah it limits the way u can mount the amp alot. thats one thing i noticed.

Are the birthsheets for all 8 amps pretty consistent?

I agree, I like the new design except the side terminals and what not. Other then that though it looks really sleek

its around 2" shorter than the old model i believe because its using the side terminals instead of the end terminals. the new heatsink is pretty heavy duty. wish i could take some pics of the internals. maybe nextime im at the shop i can get some.
