Hey everyone, new member here, i have a 92 lexus sc400 and im looking to get some subs. If anyone knows anything about them, i think the rear right speaker in mine diconnected some how. I want to put in 2 good 12" subs in a box, i dont want any wires or anything exposed so i need to get it professionally done, what are some good places with good prices around st.pete florida anyone know? thanks, looking to spend around... 300-400... what would be installation fees usually, and the 300-400 is the full price for all the wiring, amp and subs.

3-400 won't get you a whole lot from a shop. You could do a lot of it yourself and save a bunch of money.

what could i do myself? and what do you think i could get for about that much, i think i can get 2 12s with a sub box and amp for like 300ish, my friend got his installed by someone from our school, and it has wires sticking out everywhere and looks really crappy, so i dont want mine to look like that.

I hope you dont plan of getting something like that???? you can get alot more for your money. look in the classifieds, or better yet start a thread and tell people what your looking for and your price range, and im sure you'll get ALOT better options then that. I'd personally never go with audiobling

Deffinetly stay away from audio bahn. Your price range is fairly low. I am an alpine fan. You could get two decent type s 12"s run off a m650 alpine amp and probably within your price range.

But for install. Most places charge around $75 -$100 for amp install with wiring. Add into a box and the subs and amp above, and you will be above $300.

but ya first off, its gonna be around 300-400 for a full install depending on shop, it could be alot more, or alot less...

you dont want to buy audiobahn, its popular, but its not good at all... to get anything decent you will have to raise your budget to atleast $600, probably upwards of $1000... most decent amps alone go for $400+....

you can do like nick06ytc said get two type-r's and get a hifonics amp off of ebay. you can probably get a 750 watt amp for like $150, and then have them run the wiring. shop around, b/c i know here there is a shop that would charge only $75 for wiring for the amp and install the woofers, but also some charge $200 for the same thing. If that wont work you can do it yourself, im sure with the collective knowledge on this forum, you can be walked through the install, if you wanna save money

If you have the space you may consider getting 1 15" over 2 12's. it'll save you money and get just as loud

here you go. 300 for a 1200 watt amp and 15 alpine type r. wiring kit and install should be around what your looking for, and it sure will sound a lot better than that audiobling.
