New Member From Schaumburg IL

I figured I would start here before going crazy on other threads.

Anyway, I'm a 27yo from Schaumburg IL. I drive a 2004 Civic Coupe. My current set up is a Kenwood DDX7701Hd head unit. With 6.5 Kenwood Type-R components in the front hooked up to a 4ch amp. I decided not to put anything in the back since no one really sits back there but I also decided I want something a bit louder. Future plans are set for a sub but right now I'm just looking to learn more about my current set up and all the ins and outs on audio.

I have many questions I need answered but for now I'll be lurking for a bit and see what I find out around here.

So you have a 4 channel amp but you're only powering the fronts? The rear are on the head unit? Pull the trigger and get all four on the amp and add that sub. The sub will flip your world around . A guy at work did this and thought it was so good and he paid for install. To me it sounded like a treble system. I convinced him to add a sub , some actual bass and he couldn't believe his ears. Without bass you basically don't have a system .

Oh, I'm most def getting the sub. Everything is wired and ready to go. Just need to actually buy it lol. I still have much to learn so that's why it's taking me so long to get one. Looking for a decent thump without waking up the block. Maybe just the neighbors haha. Also looking for something that won't take up my hole trunk space. Like a 10" behind the tail lights or something

As for the rears, yes they're still stock running off of the HU. The amp was in my old truck so I just recycled it.
