new meds im on

i have no pain pill issue. I'm taking 4mg of dilaudid every 4 hours with a valium chaser.

i was asking the OP what his pain pill issue was silly , as he stated that there was one

4 mg of Dilaudid would not be very strong , even 8 mg are not

glad you can get relief off that

i think you're mistaken. Dilaudid is very potent... about 8 times stronger than morphine and it is further potentiated by the Valium.

seroquel is an atypical antipsychotic. It is supposed to have less side effects like tardive dyskinesia than the older antipsychotics like Mellaril or haldol. Google tardive dyskinesia if you dont know what it is...i’ve seen it first hand and it is nothing to mess with…and remember that at one time they claimed the older generation antipsychotics didnt cause it either.... :\
I believe seroquel are still classified as a 'major tranquilizer' which might sound good, but trust me it is not. They are the ones they knock people down in mental institutions settings. The 'minor tranquilizers' like valium/xanax/klonopin are a safer bet IMO… as long as you don’t have any addiction problems and are thinking short term.

I bet you claimed you couldn’t sleep and they just wrote you an order for “25mg Q HS PO” …. 25mg by mouth at bedtime….. Any doctor will tell you they’re completely safe and they do in fact make you sleep most times, even if it takes 100mg.

But they leave you ‘snowed’ the next day, not in a good way, and I personally wouldn’t take anything with even a remote possibility of tardive dyskinesia.

Isnt your affect/mood flat enough from the depkote? How much of that do you take? are you bi polar 2 or what?
depokote for bi polar and the othere stuff for the voices i hear and to help me sleep and relax. i dont take meds in the middle of the day only depokte 500mg in the morring invega ad seroquel at night with depokote thats gona change there just geting me back on meds. i found out cuz i work i cant get social worker well there gona look in to it. i wana see if i can get food stamps . ***** gota eat

Dilaudid is hydromorphine , i found it is not strong even in 8 mg , glad that you can get relief off 4 mg

yes i would agree in the grand scheme of things that Dilaudid is for severe pain i just did not get relief from it for my pain

OP what was your pain pill issue?

sober>meds

but if a person has mental issue's that can be fixed with medication so a person can live a somewhat normal life and fit in society and be productive than meds are good

same goes with pain meds, if one is injured permantantly and will go on disabilty , or use pain meds to stay off disability and work to provide a living than meds are good

always thru a doctor

i was struck by a driver that fell asleep at the wheel and totaled my 1996 impala leaving me with 3 herniated disks, 4 bulging discs, and i suffer from arthritis , and without long term pain management i would be on disability

good luck

i have a pain pill issue and for me to have somthing that will cuz issues im not sure about. the serquel is 25mg just to start then 50 in 2 weeks.
if you have an issue with pain pills then they wont give you anything like Valium or Xanax. I'd still be afraid of the serquel and ask for something like trazodone
