To the OP why you in construction? Is it something you want to do or just a temp job.. ?? 11.50 is really good for a labororer, if its american $$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I ve been a carpenter for about 8 years now and still like it , but the labor work is starting to take a toll already, Sore every day, wanna sleep all day etc etc. But until i find something better i'll just have to **** it up Cuz $18.53 keeps me there and after my apprenticeship i'll be making $32.59 + full bennies..

I make $10 an hour, and work 40 hour weeks doing IT/FSS support work for the State/National Park system. Not a bad job, considering most restaurants/fast food places in my area start off at only $5.50 to $7.00/hr, which is pretty much the only jobs in the area, unless you work at the prison, construction, or are a doctor/lawyer. I sit on my *** all day, take maybe 3 to 8 phone calls. I spend most of my day on my dual monitor setup, surfing the web on my companies high speed LAN, watching movies, listening to music, writing on this forum, etc. I can take a smoke break whenever I want, and I get 1 hour for lunch. I even get hol/sick/vacation days, and full benefits! For somone that lives with his mommy, and has virtually no bills, this kicks *** so far.

P.S. Me and my co-workers get mad LAN games going on weekends at work. Turn out all the lights, and kill!

3rd wow nice pay dude thats why i wanna do it , the pay right off the bat is a wage i can live off of rather than scrape pennies ya i know its hard i did paint prep aka all the ***** work and that prep'ed me up for it

labour laws here state that if you show up for a up they up legally pay you for 2 hours even if you dont start work! wahoooo money for waking up at 6 am ftmfw
