i am just starting out at this and i am pretty sure that i am purchasing 2 12'' audiobahn subwoofers, they each have dual v.c. and are at 500 r.m.s my question is, wut type of amp would u recomend for a reasonable amount of money. thanks.

mtx 81000d, u can get them for about $400 just about anywhere. a good amp, a good price. that is just one of many choices, read what people write here, listen to as many amps listed as you can, then buy. for the money,IMO, the mtx is a good one. name brand, good support, good product and good price. hard to beat!

Either what mrray said, or the JBL 1200.1. Both are good amps at great prices!

not 100% for certain, but i believe in the neighborhood of 1200 wrms(@2ohms?). don't quote me on it, but it's AT LEAST that strong.(rated,anyway)
