New idea, what do yall think

My shop usually charges our customers $15 to find peak SPL and peak freq with our Termlab. I wanted to give something cool to my customers when they get metered. I decided to get some plaques made with different classes(135-139.9,140-144.9,145-149.9, and 150-154.9) and when people pay to get metered if they score above a 135 they get their name on the corresponding plaque with their score and a printed certificate. Anybody that walks in with $15 can do it. We just started this week. What do yall think about this idea? Do you think $15 is too much, not enough, or just right?

I think that it's a great idea.. people as competitive as they are, who knows it might even make for better sales.

sounds like a good idea, 15 bucks doesnt sound bad..you were already charging that without having the plaque now you added that and kept the price..sounds fair to me

Yeah, I dont know. The little tags plus engraving only cost $2.00 and the engraving guy is just down the street. I was actually more concerned with that being to much, but maybe I could give people an option, $15 without and 20 with the plaque and cert. I am mainly just wanting to get people interested in competition.

It's a good idea. I think it would likely boost your sells. $15 is a good price, and if your goal is to try and get more people competitive with their systems, and you're not losing money, keep the same price. And the more competition the more people are going to keep wanting more and more. And who do you think they'll go to for advice/products? more than likely your store
