I just got back into car stereo after a hiatus. I still have my old school Soundstream SPL Mule's, and my 03 Rockford Fosgate 1000BD. I've installed them in an S10 Extended cab, and they sound as good as ever. Now I want some subs that will get lower though, so I'm looking.

Your subs now can benefit from a custom built ported box. You may not need new subs

I've been looking into that. It seems I can go to a larger box, and get what I want from them. Thank you for your input.

I have a few systems in the past but never anything over 1000 watts now I got my hands on a 5000 watt amp it will be going into a 2001 Tahoe what all do I need I'm new to big sound system I do know how to install them just don't know what size wire to use oh ya and this amp will run four 15s I just bought all the stuff to build a big box
