Hey all, I'm new here and found this site just browsing with some questions on Google. Anyway my name is Aaron, 21 years old. Just getting into the car scene area and have many questions. you need to hang around and just see what works well for others ask questions and please just think about what you want and make sure it will fit and work out well. if you buy used from here just make sure the person been around for some time and use the search options as well.

you just gota make sure you do your home work,man this sh it cost alot of money lol. i sold my stuff and bro i wana start over put it this way if i wana run one 12inch sub off of 1000-1500 rms at one ohm im gona spend over 600. and thats if i use my sub box if i go with a few 8s or one 15 or even four 12s sealed the price will go up. what you have in your car right now?

I have 2 12" Kicker comps c12's 8 ohm and a 1000 watt amp, In a bridged configuration. I have infinity reference 6.5" and looking for infinity 6x9 reference and also infinity reference 3.5"

you should look to upgrade that is like low level best buy stuff if know what i mean bro. if you can beef up your electrical you can can walk around with a big smile on your face if you run even a hifonics 2000d to lets say to fi bls tune low. there is alot that you will have to do but look around on here check out some videos check out youtube for some ideas. type in 2 fi bls or 2 fi ssds or what ever you might come across on here.

^^^ pay less attention to the specific brands and lingo and more on his general point. i was in the same position as you about a year ago. just like every other hobby, you start off not knowing much, and thus pay more money for "value" or"big name" brands because they are more accessible. once you impregnate yourself in the community you'll begin to learn not just the how but the WHY. and along the way you'll learn where to buy the best products for the lowest prices and who the "good guys" are.

what brought you here? i'm assuming you're not 100% satisfied with your setup, or else you wouldn't have found this!
