Well my trusty Sony CDX-M600 finally died on me (it came with my explorer). So ive narrowed my next deck down to 5 choices

-Pioneer p7700mp

-Pioneer p6800mp

-Pioneer p7600mp

-Panasonic CQ-C8303U

-Alpine CDA-9856

Ive got a small system al ready

2 12" Audiobahn AW122T

Lanzar 500x2 RMS amplifier

Concept Audio 5x7 speakers (no amp powering them)

I just bought an IPOD so my main concern is i want to be able to hook up my Ipod to the deck and use it. My cousin has his hooked up to his panasonic HU and just uses the IPOD like normal and it plays. So with that info which deck is my best bet

If you just want to use the iPod as like the old school CD players w/tape deck, you just need to get an HU with 1 audio input and 1 preout. Preout to sub amp and buy a 3.5mm adapter for the audio input (1red/1black) and connect it. To play the iPod, just control it as you would noramally. From the looks of it you only really need the basic features in the deck, so price would seem like the only factor in choosing one.
