New Here (stolen system)

Hi everyone, my name is Jason and I'm new to the forum here. I'm an old school audiophile but I'm ALWAYS open to gain new knowledge, not embarrassed to say I have been schooled by people half my age before. I have been a faithful Rockford Fosgate customer since I was 16 y/o (I'm 35 now) **** I can remember the day I got my first Punch 150 amp back in the day...I thought I had it going on.

You see, recently my truck was stolen. My truck was subsequently recovered, but of course it was stripped clean. I had the sweetest setup, 2 sets of T1652-s's, 2 P1s410's, all crossed over and powered by 2 T600's....in a Ford Ranger ExCab, yes it hit hard. Everything was brand new in January; I had saved up for almost two years to buy my "dream system". I have checked local pawn shops and Craigslist with no success, unfortunately I have liability insurance only so my system is not covered, I can easily identify my property...I have my own "serial number" that I engrave in everything I have with any value. If anyone comes across the following number engraved on the components I mentioned above...please, PLEASE let me know...070696090375

As a single father to a disabled teenage girl I really don’t have much disposable income to put into my passion, so I really had a lot of respect for the gear I had invested in. I'm probably preaching to the choir when I say thieves are the lowest of the low.......the absolute scum of the earth. All I can really say to a thief is. "get a job like the rest of us"! To some of us our passion is more than just simply hooking up audio gear. There are people like me out there who have so much responsibility and so little time for enjoyment, that things like kicking back in the truck with the music blasting is our only form of release. What can I say, it will probably be at least another year or so before I can afford to "rebuild" my system, but in the mean time I'll hang out in the forum and see if I can contribute, and gain some knowledge!!!

That's really unfortunate man, having something that means even a lil to you get stolen *****, I can relate to the stress relieving part about sound systems, if I come across that serial number I'll def let you know, hope you find everything and don't have to save up to buy it all again.

That *****. Welcome to the forum! Look at the classifieds daily and you can piece together a new system for relatively cheap.

Thanks for the welcome...I appreciate that! I swapped a pistol for a Pioneer AVIC-D2 today, an old .380 I never use. It's an older deck but it's nice and has all the capabilities I will need. I got it from my neighbor, he still had the box and everything, even the reciept...and **** he paid like $1200 for it several years ago. So, I'll hook the factory speaks back up and at least have something to hold me over.
