New here..need some amp help

morning everyone. Just joined. I have a 2015 non bose silverado and looking to take the stereo to the next level. I installed a jl audio powered sealed 10 inch sub under the Dr rear seat. Have pioneer 1602r coaxials in rear doors. I had bought speaker baffles for the doors front and rear but really couldn't tell a difference. I have pioneer d1730c components coming for the front and dash location.

I noticed replacing the rear speakers I lost mid bass. The stocks didn't have the clarity or highs but had mid bass. The 1602r's that are in the rear Dr have nice clarity but no mid bass...but this is unamped as well.

I think amping the doors and dash and having dedicated bass from the jl sub will sound nice. Only really worthwhile but too expensive is a new head unit to control crossover points, crossover slopes and a good eq but at 4k for an alpine is ludicrous.

My problem is deciding on a amp to power the door speakers. 60 watt speakers so I'm tossing around a pioneer gm a6604 = 60 w a CH. or a Rockford fosgate pbr300x4 at 75w a CH or an alpine 445u. From my reading the rf gets to hot, not really any info on the pioneer and not sure I want a pioneer amp. I've read a bunch on the 445u and although it sounds great it is less watts than what my speakers handle. Ive seen PPI thrown around here and such but not sure on what else is a quality amp but at a reasonable price... Less than 150 or not to much more. My thought was a 4 channel that exceeded the 60 watts for some headroom and so the amp is not constantly working itself.

Curious on what you guys would recommend for a 4 CH amp, powering 4 60 watt RMS speakers, reasonably priced and also a fairly well liked brand that won't burn out a year down the road. I will be getting the signal from speaker level inputs as I'm keeping my factory radio. Thanks for any help

Long story short in my opinion Rockford fosgate is the way to go. I've had really good luck with them in the past and so has everyone I know. A specific amp I know they used to make was a 4.6x and it was a 300 watt, 55 watt rms per channel @ 4 ohms amp. If you can find one factory refurbished it would probably be a bargain and last you a long time. Good luck!!

Unfortunately the stock. With these new ones everything (ac, heat, door chimes, seat belt chimes) are built into the hu. Other wise this thing would be ditched long ago

I called sonic and asked them if they carried the pbr400x3 and then threw the PPI 900.4 by him. He said the rf as well stating the PPI wont sound as nice and not as good of an amp. Only thing on the rf I'm worried about is the heat as ppl have stated. It will be under my rear seat and have prob 4 inches of space above it so a good amount of airflow

If you search you might find what you need for replacing it go with the pioneer prs80 from what I've heard here one of the best HUs for the money
