Hello all I am suffering with my basic 4 speaker system in my new 2010 Dodge Charger.

I am buying all I can to complete my install but need help completing my list.

I have purchased: 2: Pair of RF T1652-S as well as 2 pairs of boom mats these are for front doors and rear deck with a kicker 08ZX650.4 amp to power them, 2: T1D410 in a mdf carpeted box and a Rockford Fosgate Power T10001BD.

I am looking for a list of things to complete my install package.

Ive started with 9 wire (using factory head unit)

do I need a processor?

speaker wire to RCA dual? what part and where does it go?

2 gauge wire and 8 gauge wire?

2 block splitters?

Capacitor?

amp kit inline fuses etc...

ok I think Ive covered everything now I just need a little help to put it all together Thank you in advance.

capaciter NOOOOO. you have a 160amp alt. do the big 3. you shoud be good for power. but if you need more because of dimming issues later, then add like a kinetic or xs, battery. i have no idea what a 9wire is, but then i don't ever leave in the factory hu.

just use 1/0 wire instead of 2gauge, if you're putting this in anyways a bit more is always better. get wire from knukonsepts link will be at the bottom.

block splitters? i'm guessing for the power wire? you won't need it at all. the battery in your car is in the back so your wires won't be all but 3ft long or so.

is your box a prefab? i'd get with RAM_Designs on here and send him 10bux, tell him what you have and how much room you have to work with, and he'll give you blue prints of what to make. then build your own box.

i donno how you make speaker wire into rca's, i think there's some kind of box to get for that, but i would put that in at the back of the radio before the stock amp not after.

If you plan to use the stock HU you'll need something like the JL Clean Sweep to hook up to your head unit for rca connections. Wish we could have helped you out before you got all that RF gear //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If you can return that box and maybe even all that equipment (not sure if its good but rockford and kicker arent the best and you can probably get more for your money with other brands). Pre-fab boxes are a no-no. Build one and it will be 10x better. You do not need a JL Cleansweep. If you have tons of cash and want it then go for it but its not needed. You are keeping your stock stereo? then you will need a LOC (line out converter) to convert your speaker signals into rca's for your amps. The battery in the back is a big plus, use 1/0 just incase and for future upgrades if you want. Amp should be fine if its a 160, but maybe go with an aftermarket battery. I'm looking at batteries now myself and not sure what to go with. Optimas were getting a bad rap but are possibly making a comback. I heard a Deka Intimidator is a good stand alone battery. If that battery still is not enough you may need to upgrade your alt after that, but I doubt it if its 160.

Big three is a good idea as mentioned. Use 1/0 for that also. Quick search on here will show you how to do it.

Thanks everyone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I was getting lonely lol haha ok first the rockford power series components retail for 449 and at 140 a pair was a steal 100 watt rms per speaker with crossover for tweeter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Kicker zx 650 rms 4 channel to power them. yes my alt is 160 amp down to DC 110. I will use the 0 gauge wire. I will use 2 amps I dont have the second one yet and I do have a 4x10 sheet of 3/4 inch mdf I hope to put one RF T1D412. I will have to check out ram link Thanks.

run on sentences lol gotta love em. ok yes the speaker wire to rca connections are a must. have a shop selling me the 9 wire for 1.50 a foot. it has all of the factory wires in there for remote speakers power etc...

Ive heard of the big three I will look into it. my son uses an optima kinetic battery too.
