New here, a quick question.

I wouldn't be set on the Momo's. I currently run a set they're ok but for the money the DIY option is the smarter choice. I had the Dayton Ref (comparable to the AA poly I believe) and the sound was much more enjoyable and cheaper.

 
I personally really like the look of the Poly Mids. And you'd be vary hard pressed to find a better setup for the money. You can go active with any set of components, but the Polks just wouldn't stack up to the Poly/Vifa setup. If you don't like the look of bare Poly mids, just buy or make a grille.

 
Huh, you're saying you wouldn't want the AA 6.5" poly's b/c of the location they're going in being visible?

Yes, as shallow as it sounds, one qualification of whatever speakers I get for the fronts is that they must look good.

I'll keep researching.
