Just got my new headphones to do my reviews on for my site. Complements of Grado Labs and VModa. Working on burning them in before I start reviewing. Dont want to mention too much, but we will see how they stack up compared to a set of Shure SRH750DJ's

Grado Labs SR80i

I am guessing your a member of head-fi?
Let me know how those V-moda's are.

I am a bass *****. So I use the Sony XB-500's
I am a member at Head-Fi. Havent listened to any of them yet. If you subscribe to my site you will get an email sent when I do the review of the review contents and images.

how much ??
Not sure if Im supposed to disclose that information. I can tell you I contacted companies and asked to do a review of a product of their choice. These 2 companies agreed. I have another 2 companies lined up.

Well aren't you just the bees knees

I was thinking about those VModa's when I was choosing some closed back headphones. However, since I loved my ADH-700's so much I just went with M-50's.

I've also been wanting to try Grado's out for a long time, but once I get some good heaphones I kind of lose interest until I need new ones.

After seeing these headphones I just new you were a member of that site. Your average person won't hear about brands like grado otherwise. That is a very helpful site. Thats how I learned about the sony xb series.

Well if the Grado phones are anything like their TT carts......well they should be truly outstanding!!

I have a Thorns TT and have been using Grado carts for years now. IMO, they are the best cart out.

You should try the Sennheiser HD380Pro
They look awesome! But I can't find the driver size on them. Are they 40MM?

I like impact/boomy bass like what the XB500s offer.

How you tried the 380s?

Dang. I watched a review. He said the bass isn't over powering...which is how I like my sound.

I own a few HD280Pro. I spent time with the HD380Pro. The bass output is amazing. Stupid low. 10Hz is easy. Comfy as hell. Instantly you notice much better bass output compared to the 280's. 8Hz-27kHz freq response is legit.

An EQ gives you the boost you want... If any.

Getting ready to review them. Got my format down with required information and then Ill be doing some sound testing with probably 5 tracks. Each from different genres of music. One from rock, R&B, classical, and 2 others.
