looking to buy a new head unit but im deciding from three different ones below is a pic of the three i am deciding from they are the

CD changer

Panasonic CQ-CB8901U

WMA/MP3/CD/HD-Radio Receiver with Full Dot Matrix Display

Sony CDX-F5705X

CD/MP3 receiver with CD changer controls

i had that sony, and didn't like it much. i also ran a panasonic a couple years ago, it wasn't bad. that sony skipped like mad. any reasonbly large bump made it skip.

i forget which panasonic it was. it was 2 or 3 years ago. it was a solid deck though. got it at car toys for under 200 bucks.

At car toys kool i saw the panasonic CQ-C8100U in one of my friends car and he said it was good but when i got on the internet i found the Panasonic CQ-CB8901U which is like a new brand of the CQ-C8100U i found both of them on amazon.com and they run about the same price

i had a panasonic cq-c8401u a while back and it was a pretty good unit. If you are getting a sub with reasonable output it tends to skip though so keep that into consideration. just my personal experience. feel free to pm me with any questions

i would probably go with an alpine i had a panasonic and it used to skip all the time...now that i got my alpine it hasn't skipped once..

I have 2 12in dual subs that im going to install into my trunk but i dont have an amp so there not hooked up yet but once i get my new head unit and an amp ill be hookin it up but do you think it will skip with the dual subs

an alpine head unit i havnt really looked into them but ill check them out and see if i like any of them thanks man and what type is your alpine head unit

I checked out the alpine head unit but none of them caught my eye like the panasonic ones i was also looking into dual head unit i heard they are one of the best head unit to buy
