New Head Unit Giving Me Sloppy Bass?

Ok. I see. The reason why i added this Bass knob is because I like the option of having to lower the Bass all the way when I want to. I read a lot of reviews on these knobs and a lot of people buy them for this reason of more control of the Bass.So I what is my next best move if I remove this Control Knob I currently have as well as still having that same option I just mentioned above?

you just bought the wrong type. You need a remote gain knob not a bass boost knob. PAC LC-1 (lc1) Universal Remote Level Control via RCA Audio is the one you are looking for. It doesnt not do anything to the signal, its just like having a gain knob up front.

The next best move would be to check and see if you have any bass boost options or anything in the equalizer thats boosted. Make sure bass boost is not used in the amp settings either. In the EQ, you can lower the 50 to 80hz region down and see if that helps.
