I swapped out the head units in my 2001 crown vic... i have a pioneer flip out now i have a pioneer radio after wiring the radio comes on and works properly but no sound from the interior speakers only the subwoofer is playing. Everything is wired correclty...would anyone know why it is doing this? It worked properly before the swap !

is there a stock amp for the car? how about an internal amp on/off switch for the head unit? when i got my new alpine and hooked it up i had the same problem, my internal amp was just shut off in one of the menus

internal amp fried during install? i've seen a few pioneers that have.. smell the back right corner in the back of the player...does it smell burnt..also, what series

" and it worked before the swap"

are you referring to the new pioneer or the interour speakers?

what type of vic do you have? if its a pi they dont have a internal amp...Some of ther lx model did though..

are you using a amp for the interours or the reciver amp?

i have an 01 lx i am using the amp to push the 2 12 only and the probelm started when i swaped my pioneer 5700 tv to a pioneer 5900 cd player sometimes the interior speakers go out and then come back in
