New head deck install help

Hi guys,

I'm replacing the stock head deck (Clarion drx6275gv) in my 1999 Subaru Legacy with a sony gt45u. However, I've encountered a problem in that I've got 2 unidentified cables that are directly attached to the clarion unit. I also can't seem to find the antenna plug to go into the sony unit. (perhaps the unidentified white/red cables are the antenna? why would there be two?). There's also an orange cable with the rest of the cables that I can't seem to ID.

any idea what the red/white cables are??

Apologies if this has been asked before, I've trolled trawling on the internet for the past few hours but I can't find anything.

did you get a wire harness adapter to go from stock to after market?

Most aftermarket headunits have the wires labeled. My pioneer had the orange wire labeled as dimmer. A haynes manual may have the wiring diagram for your radio

look and see how the old one was set up the red and white wires could possible be your antenna however this is highly unlikely because red is usually power from the positive side

dont worry about the orange its not need they red and white wires are no big deal either that lil thing is supposed to be bolted to the back of the radio looks like the bolt came off
