I see there is alot of knowledge here and I also no how annoying the newbies are with there dumb questions lol. But hoping to get my 07 ext cab chevy sounding good very soon. Anywhere on this site were I can go to find out what ohms and all these other abbreviations are meant for and what I need to look for when purchasing speakers?

All that will have to match up for the system to work properly...if not you could have reduction of power...or overworking and over heating amps...ect...How big are you wanting to go ?

As of now I have a 1000 watt Memphis amp. My head unit is a pioneer deh-80rps I just want something that has clear vocal and decent bass. I love to hear music and love to have a little bump. What ever I purchase I would like to get it fitting for under the back seat

Which model Memphis Amp ? A good set of Pioneer componets for the front would be nice to run off the deck....I think the model is TS D1720 ...Usually you can get a set for bout $100 on ebay...And youd need a good clean powered amp for them to hang with your subs ...something between 50-100x2 per ch would be good on them....

To be honest I am not sure of the module its a older on ive had the amp for probley 6 years. so far it still seems to bump ok. What would u have in mind for a amp for my highs and a good sub?
