No way the Yamaha...
Personally I dont like sport ATV's

Grizzle 660.. Run some shit over!!!
I say it comes down to personal preference between honda/yamaha. They are pretty much too close to call performance wise.

I own a honda, so i'm saying honda. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I already have a grizzly but its the 600 and they do have power so i dont need a utility atv i got that coverd eventhough its been beat the h*** out of but its still runing for now lol.

im acutally trying to sell a ds650 baja //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
How do u like your 650? i like the looks of it but have not meet anyome with one to tell me how it performs. All i have to compare quads with is good old dirtwheelsmag

i love it.. all i did to it was put a 15t front sprocket on it and that lowered the powerband. stock the powetband was more mid-ranged, but now its more low end geared for trails. The only thing i dont like about it is the weight.. roughly 500 lbs. it still isnt to bad on trails as everyone makes it out to be, it has so much power that you can spin around easily if you run into a dead end. Ive had it on one MX track before and I personally thought it performed good. It landed jumps very smoothly and take offs are smooth. also the thing's a tank! i bought mine new in may and ive givin it all kinds of hell. Its been almost completely submerged in water .. (muddy water), its been rolled off a steep hill, flipped a few times, and stuck in mud real bad also. But if you looked at it, you'd have no idea. still runs like it was brand new. one more thing is its the most comfortable 4wheeler ive ever rode. im not to say that these other 4 wheelers you listed arn't good, beacuse i do really like the new 450r's.. that would be my 2nd choice just beacuse it seams like everyone has a YZF.

i voted the 450R, but...

my advice would be, depending on what you wanna do with this quad, to try and find one of the big bike motor hybrid quads...a CRF450 or YZF450 powered, aftermarket framed quad. since the pro production thing hit, these bikes have dropped tremendously in value, but they will absolutely chew up and spit out the production 450's

BTW, i've got a 250R, and i love it. wouldn't mind having a 4 stroker though

i also have a Grizzly, but it is a 600. i love it, it has so much power. i have a winch and plow on it, the other day we got a snow storm and a Buick Rendevous got stuck on my road and i pulled him right out with no problem!

really nice i would love to get an old 250r stock just to have

thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. since that pic was taken, i've taken off the white tank, added Houser +3 +1 a-arms, Laeger -1 swingarm, ITP 19x6x10 Holeshot MX's on 10x5 Douglas Shamrock beadlocks on the front, and a Magura hydraulic clutch. and i'm saving up for some nerf bars

another option you should look into is the ATK 450VR. it is built here in the USA, twin spar aluminum frame(strongest stock frame out there), 48 hp fuel injected motor, and some of the best stock suspension available. or, if that is outta the price range, its $8k BTW, you could pick up a used Cannondale which is the predecessor to the ATK. either the Cannondale or the ATK will give the YFZ and 450R fits on the track or trail...that fuel injection is absolutely wicked, i've never ridden anything like it, not even my R - here's a pretty nice one for sale...definitely worth a look http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=142712

come over to http://www.exriders.com and do some researching and ask some questions...they'll set you straight

one more thing, lol, sorry for writing a book, but why haven't you considered a 400ex. i know they are down on power compared to the others you mentioned, but for the price you can pick up a used one, you really can't go wrong. buy one for like $3k, add a 416,426, or 440 kit, some suspension upgrades, and some bling, and you have a much better machine than a stock 450 IMO. may not be as fast in a straight line, but will still be loads of fun

well i never really liked the look of that atv. it also is to common around here for me. Thats why i got my kfx700 im the only one with one in around by me.

Cannondale i would love to get one of thoughs but i would like it to be new i dont even know if there making them anymore.

ATK bought out Cannondale and are producing the new quads...but there is no reason not to pick up a used Cannondale, just make sure it was updated. parts are still a little hard to come by, and they require a little more maintenance, but IMO, they are right at the top of the sport/race ATV world
