Hey guys and gals (?). Just joined. I was deep into competitions back in the day (~1998) and won a few SQ competitions with my little black 97 Beamer. I've always had some kind of sound in the whip. I just retired from the Air Force in July and I'm a graduate student now (cybersecurity), so I have a lot of free time and I wanted to get back into some things. I have an ol school Treo engineering SSX15 that I love, and a couple Fosgate power amps (bd20001 mono and 400 [i think] multichannel), Focal mids and tweets. Pretty simple. Looking forward to learning some things I've forgotten and new stuff as well.

Welcome to the forum..quality old school is the way to go ..the car audio market has went to crap in recent years with all the brand buyouts ..

most subs aren't as efficient as they used to be unless u get cheaper "lighter" ones, rf has ok amps look at twisted sounds and wolfram ssa.com they have nice subs too.. lot of peeps run sundown subs now..
