hers my new experiemnt as learn to buld boxes, AW1500N dual 4ohm voice coil 800rms 1600peak running off an A800t mono amp at 2ohms 800rms 1600peak, someone is designing abox plan that i will attempt to build, how do you think it will sound????

when tuning a sub is the tunung frequency as low as the sub will play?

The tuning frequency is dependant on your desires, tune higher for more output (spl- sound pressure level - loud) and tune lower for SQ - sound quality. SQ tuning is generally 28~34Hz and SPL is ~35Hz and above.

And I think it will sound like garbage regardless of the tuning, because the driver is just that...

let me guess you hate audiobahn, syrprise, in my area, small town, thats all ive run and everyone including some mtx and kicker fans all think my audiobahn equipt. sounds greta, but you probablt are spending a lot more money thatn i do fon your stereo. but feedback well takedn

no you probably spend way more money for the bling bling when we spend money and got some GREAT sounding equipment...you just stick around here..we arent tryin to pick on you for audiobahn but its no worth having...

ive been following along for the last couple years and learned a ton. but i have also learned that many of you spend more on a sub that i have for much of my system i got the Aw1500N for $89 and shippend for $109 for the power it take and its specs matching my amp, i couldnt find a better sub online.............. ilokked for several weks.

For $110 a cvr maybe? I believe anyone here would take it over the audiobahn any day....

but will that take 800rms 1600 peak, and is it dual 4ohm voive coil, if so, i wish i ahd been able to fine it, anything like a cvr was closer to $200, at least one matching my amp.

They come in either dual 2 or 4 and that audiobahn amp isnt pushing the 1600 watts it says it is. Its prob around 1000-1200 and the cvr 15 is rated at 1000 peak but you might be able to throw a little more at it.

Never messed with anything of them, I just bought a 15 cvr off here for 115 shipped....it just takes time to look and reading, but I promise you with the right install that cvr will definately get louder and sound better than that audiobhan will and if i ever decide to sell it ill be able to get more of my money back than the audiobahn because ive went thru several audiobahn subs when i first got into car audio and when i tried to sell them no one wanted them.

and as far the power output, have you run the A800T or are you going on what you heard, i'm not trying to be a jerk, again just curious?

One of my buddys had an audiobahn amp that was supposed to do 2400 watts and my kx1200.1 would beat it sq wise and would get louder but no, I myself havent ever had an amp it might be half decent and it might satisfy your needs.

yeah, i am a bigh fan of audiobahn, its always done welll for me, i have 4x6's 2 12" subs, and the amp i referred to earlier, and they all perform well for me, that why i went with the excursion series 15" sub, but as far as others, i run rockford fosgate 551X powers eries amp to 6 channels, 4x6 aaudiobahn, and 2 pair of rockford fosgate T163c 6 1/2's in doors.
