New Dominos pizza??

Anyone try the new Dominos Pizza yet? I was watchin a vid online from some talk show and apparently Dominos is rated #1 in North America for pizza delivery, but ranked #5 for taste (Papa Johns was #1). I always thought their pizza s*cked, better off with a frozen pizza from the grocery store instead. Anyway, they changed everything over, new sauce, cheese and crust. All in an attempt to be #1 for taste too. I got a coupon code for their new pizza's so I ordered one tonight. It was definitely much better than their old pizza. A garlic flavor in the crust and spicier sauce. I didn't notice anything about the new cheese, of course that was probably cause of the toppings. It's a lot better than the old pizza flavor, but I think I'll still go with the frozen pizza. lol, after reading this over it looks almost like an ad for pizza.

So, anyone else try this pizza yet?

I ordered some at work specifically to try it. It was expensive, too.

It tastes like old, shitty domino's pizza. Still a thick *** bread, disgusting tasting sauce, and just nasty all around. The only difference is they added some crap to the dough to make it greasy and garlicy.

Domino's is poo.

domino's is good where I live, Piss Hut sucks here, was horrible last time we ordered from there. Domino's is not that expensive if you use coupons or the on line specials.

I have a shop around the corner from me that used to make the best tasting Pizza around, a 20" pizza for $11 and it was great. Then they sold the place to a new guy and he started using cheaper ingredients, now their pizza sucks too.

I eat pizza a couple times a week, so I'm always trying a new local shop.

I tried a Papa Johns pizza a couple years ago, I got through half a slice and had to throw out the rest of the pizza, it was so friggin nasty. My wife couldn't get past a couple bites either. That one and the next closest one went out of business.

I believe all of these chains' stores are independantly (sp?) owned and operated so each place would be a little different also. and each of our taste's is subjective. what oyu find shitty, i might enjoy. So you never know if its good untill you try it = )

pizza hut, dominos, papa johns all **** terribly... pizza hut is way too greasy and the other two taste like shit...

You are correct, each one is independently owned and operated. But, they are bound by contract to use exactly the same ingredients in all their stores. When you see they say they use the finest ingredients they are full of sh*t. They put out a bid and the lowest bid gets the contract, so they are really using the cheapest ingredients they can get.

Guys at my work swear by Papa Johns, others say Dominos is the best, I like Pizza Hut, so it is all a matter of your own personal taste.
