new componets compare to rainbow 6.5 slc

Well i just blew the tweets in my car i had the rainbow slc 6.5 i asked how much tweets were and they said 120 for a set. That seems a lil high being i spent 220 for the whole set. is it worth buy them or should i get a whole new componet set im only looking to spend around 200 if needed. What componets are comparable to the rainbows?

maybe just pick up some tweeters from parts express or madisound.com

if you're just gonna pick up a different pair then it might be a good idea to find out what the original tweets were crossed at so it can match better

If I were you, I would a) figure out why the originals blew in the first place, and b) keep the original Rainbow midbasses as there's nothing wrong with them, and run active with new tweets...

there is nothing wrong with them the first one had a shorted wire inside the tweeter and im sure the other one is the same because when i twist the tweeter it works
