i picked up a pair of TS-C130 pioneer components. installing them tonight. anyone have heard/used. would like some input. 50$ from the dealer doesnt sound to bad to me, even if they are shitty.

Be carefull some home audio is 8ohm and most car speaker are 4ohm. I blew a sony amp/receiver in my room with a 12" lightning audio.

Some home receivers have a 4 Ohm setting for use if any of the speaker outs are going to be used with non-standard speakers (standard in this case being a normal home speaker which, as you stated, are generally 8 Ohm units)
Or he could wire them in series and make an 8 Ohm load as well (like I've done with my SVC 10s that are serving LFE duty in my HT currently as I have no other subwoofer to use)

i wired to 8. and even if it does blow it i dont care its the crappier of the 2. midbass is lackin a little. but ohhwell 8inch XXX mids in kicks should fix it in the future.
