New Components

I finally finished adding bass to my system and now I want to upgrade to some really good component speakers. Which ones are the best out there these days. I know different speakers produce different levels of bass and treble and it depends on what kind of music you like to decide on the right speaker. I listen to rock and rap so I need both crisp treble and loud mid bass. I'm currently running a JL audio 13.5" W7 (sealed box) powered by a JL 1000/1 amp so I need speakers that can keep up. Please help me if you know of some suggestions. Thanks

the pioneer premier REV series has done me well and they were only 180 bux shipped off ebay.. they need a good power amp though for em, they sounded poopy from the headunit, but came to life x10 with the amp from pioneer premier.-

keeps up with my 4x12 SPL3000's running at 6k watts.

Oh I forgot to add that I have a 98 blazer and I need 5 1/4" speaks for the doors... don't know if that affects your decision.

Oh I forgot to add that I have a 98 blazer and I need 5 1/4" speaks for the doors... don't know if that affects your decision.

My 98 blazer has 6 1/2" speakers. I'm not sure why yours would be different. Oh and check on the mounting depth... GM didn't allow much room for speakers.

DLS Iridium. Excellent midbass and sound quality...Or did you mean $500 for both amp and components?
