No...

38mm P-P, which means 19mm one way, if it can be verified by a secondary party...

Originally posted by TRANSAMCHARGER So on paper how does this compare to the brahma?
The one specified (or lack thereof), has no parameters to even compare it to so I cannot even begin to deduce anything other than it costs $200 more than a similar sized brahma, has a lower stated power handling, less linear excursion, and a shorter warranty by 2 years...

Take it to the DUMAX and then let me know how they perform:)

Hopefully someone gets one of these and lets us know how they are...little pricey, though...so it would have to match up.

is xmax that big of a deal that if its a bit lower than say like xxx and some other really high xmax subwoofers that its definately not going to be that good? oh and also those are just MSRP prices i will guarantee they are lower.

Originally posted by gellis4 what exactly does DUMAX do? Is it's only function to measure the exc. of the sub? or does it measure many other variables?
DUMAX measures the parameters of the driver placed on the machine by going beyond standard T/S parameters- it measures drivers under excursion - which is something T/S parameters are useless for when you are trying to think of how your driver will act under real power. They are great for small-signal assumptions, but under high power applications - the parameter shift of these specifics makes them useless.

It'll give you all useful electro-mechanincal parameters as well as thiele-small parameters.

I'll have the specs up soon. I've been running completely crazy. Check the site often. If you need to ask me something please email us.

Welcome aboard:)

Glad to have some more knowledge on the boards:cool:
