New Cadence ZRS - 1st Pics

Here are the first public pictures of the new Cadence ZRS line of amps. It will be a complete line ranging from 2 channel to 4 channel to a whopping 10,000W RMS behemoth. Most of the line will be available by the end of October.

Made in Korea at a high end factory. Country of origin doesn't mean too much as long as the manufacturer is willing to pay for quality parts.

Also, the amps are anodized aluminum and not some cheaper painted jobs.

Class D:

ZRS6000D - 700W @ 2 ohm

ZRS7000D - 1000W @ 1 ohm

ZRS8000D - 2000W @ 1 ohm

Meh...I could deal without the chrome Z logo, the silver bar its mounted on top of and the OMG THIS AMP IS RATED AT 1200 WAAATSSS logo. IMO it would look alot better with just a black heatsink, and Cadence written in silver, but anyways.

The 10,000W is farther away than the rest of the line so no pics yet. Sorry.

If it was up to me, the amps wound not have any power ratings printed on them but you can't win 'em all.

If it was up to us, we'd NEVER write the max wattage anywhere. However, many of our retailers and overseas distributors demand it since it helps them sell the product. Unfortunately, the average customer who walks into a retailer will judge the product by whatever power rating he or she sees, not even knowing the difference between RMS and peak/max. We are committed to putting the actual power ratings on the packaging since this is obviously not an attempt to fool anyone but the simple result of the fact that in order to stay in business we need to follow what our customers and the market dictate.

Also, the 10,000W amp will be available this December. It will feature the same style just wider than the rest of the line.

Looks awesome but I don't like the Max power ratings on the front even though I understand why it's there. I am really liking the elegant look to it.

looks nice i agree with most on the max power on the top but another thing i would have done is went with a different wire hook up scheme. alot of amps have that same set up. in the looks department its alot better than the old orange amps they had lol
