New Bigger AMP, But quiter on rock music

Ive recenlty upgraded to a orion 2500D from a jbl gto1201.1 and im a ton louder on rap music and tones but the rock music the bass just doesnt hit/punch as hard as it used to.. Any ideas?

That or he's using bass boost and the two amps have a different boost range.

That could be too, but thats why personally i never use boost except certain situations where you need to, to flatten the curve. Hmmm prolly help to wait for OP to respond with what his setting are at

ill go check what my x-over setting are at im pretty sure they are at the correct place. I have 2 x overs high and low

prolly 50-70 hz for rock is usually what the basslines are, and remember most rock songs are recorded pretty darn low like -10 or lower, not like -6 like most rap songs.
