what's so "new" about a beer as stiff as wine? i was at karl strauss the other day and got SO SLOSHED. i believe it was either belgian abbey red or russian imperial stout. this stuff was like CONCENTRATED GUINESS. seriously tasted like either super concentrated guiness or a glass of regular guiness with a shot or two in it. definitely for big boys....i'm never getting it again lol.

I doubt it qualifies as "beer" if it's that potent.

beer can come up to 14-18%

And even at 18%, which is basically the alcohol content of a stronger wine like merlot, three glasses isn't enough to get you puking. Maybe not able to drive that night, but certainly not sick...unless you have no tolerance whatsoever.

No, never mind I am thinking of Side Pocket high gravity ale or something, that shit was nasty and sweet.

I live about a little over an hour away from the state line and I work around the lake texoma area.
