New Alpine Head Unit :)

I used to swear by by Alpine head units, in fact I wouldn't buy anything but Alpine, but recently they've gone down hill big time. I've currently got a CDA-7892 which I loved when it was new, but lately I've been having a lot of problems with it. I went and demoed some new HU's the other day and I must say the new Alpines **** compared the some of the other HU's, and even compared to earlier Alpine models. The new Alpines have fewer features on them than the older units had. They don't even have time correction anymore. There is absolutely no comparison between the newer Alpines and the Eclipse HU's. The SQ is much better from the Eclipse, and they have more features. You couldn't GIVE me an Alpine now.

The last nice Alpine HU's I owned were a couple of CDA-7998's (still liked my CDA-7949 and PXA-H600 combo better). The new CDA-9887 is looking like a nice unit.....
