Straight 6 and a 3-speed manual.

Whoever bought that car new simply wanted a Camaro I would think...

Any concrete plans for it? Leaving it stock? Maybe a retro-mod project?

Certainly there is heaps of potential here. Nice find. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

Body have LOADS of potential. . . . drivetrain however has little/no potential . . . swap it out and keep the original stuff just in case u want it back to stock. . . . thats what my father did with his B0SS 302. . . . however his was just a simple 302 v8 -2bbl.

Nice find, what'd u get it for

If his came with a 5.0L 2bbl as the factory motivation then it isn't a Boss 302 but rather possibly a Boss 302 Clone, eh? Depending on whether or not it was eventually fitted with an actual Boss motor as well as various other options that weren't available on non Boss-equipped 'Stangs.

Dont ask me what the hell happend here, i am clueless, all i know is the Marti Report ordered says the VIN# = Boss 302, some parts of the car do not. . . . the 302 block that came in NO way is a Boss engine. . . a boss 302 engine really is a 351. . . . . maybe someone idiotically swapped it out if it at one point blew. . ? Your welcome to come over and take a look for urself!

You Arizona car hounds are sooooo lucky. Every car you buy hasn't got rot or bad rust on it. You should come up north where it snows and gets salted every other day and try to find something like that around here....

Lucky.

yep, my granddad bought the cheapest Camaro he could

the current plan is a 350 carb'd small block with a 5 or 6 speed ******

I was basing my post on your previous statement of the car onl having a 302cid 2bbl motor in it which is (obviously) not one of the engines fitted into a Boss-equipped Stang.

If the car was a Boss when new then cool. Sucks that the original drivetrain wasn't present when your dad acquired the car. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Oh - this specific car was originally bought by your G'pa? Then that makes it even cooler to be in the same family after all these years. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

no plastic or interiors survive our summers though

the car spent all its life garaged in New Mexico, California, and Colorado
