new 12" audiopulse axis on sale @ PE for $300...

oh god her we go with the this tc sub is this audiopulse sub, they are all different. They have different specs, and i promise you the AXIS is not the same as a tc-3000, it can take more power easily. I have owned and tested both side by side

Lol you're wrong.. Axis was the Tc 3000, Revo is Tc 2000
no your wrong, go check the specs, hell i have an audiopulse axis spec sheet right here. I also had both installed and the axis moves much less than a tc-3000 off a jl 1000/1 because it takes more power, it also sounds different.

Sweet, a sub from a company that declared bankruptcy. Good to see parts express is picking up a one year warranty on these when audiopulse's webpage says they are warranted for life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

150db at 30hz on 1600w //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Is a decent price though

Well from what dcole always states since he knows TC like no other is what i go by, and I own a TC 3000 but not a axis.
ya man, alot of people say alot of different things on here, i thought they were the same as well untill i actually installed them in the exact same conditions and noticed a rather large difference.

First off 300 shipped is a great deal on that sub!

I've run both the Revo and Axis 15s.

With 1700rms in a 4.35cuft box tuned to 33hz (after displacement) the axis was .4dB louder than the revo. I would give the sq to the revo but i believe the box was slightly too big for the axis, it likes closer to 3.5-3.75 for sql.

With a full 3kw on the axis and in a 3.5cuft box tuned to 35hz (after disp) it was doing 3.7dB louder than the revo with 1700rms in the 4.35cuft box.

I also ran dual 15" revos in a 5cuft (after disp) box and the sq was very very good. Output was ok for sealed but nothing to write home about.

All of these boxes were in my Lincoln Aviator and mic'd on the same termlab mic.

Don't really know if that helps anyone but both are sick subs.

They didn't list it as a buyout special in the catalog they sent me in the mail listing the 10" Revo as $199.
Correct me if Im wrong, but isn't Revo a step up from an Axis?
i think it was listed as a buyout on the website... but i may be wrong, my memory doesnt quite go back that far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

also, axis = 3hp and revo = tc9 based

axis is the 5200 or 5400 that was once tc sounds while the revo is the 3000 and the epic is the tc2000

there is not a single true statement in this entire poast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

the ONLY difference between the axis and the tc3000 is the flatwound aluminum coil used on the Axis as opposed to the copper coil used on the tc3000... the aluminum coil can handle more power, just like on the audioque subs everyone loves so much on here
