But I have been sitting at home with the flu for the last couple days and have gotten bored.

So here are some pictures of my grad present...

1968 Buick Riviera. 430 engine, black interior, power everything, including the headlights!

We picked it up for about $2300, it has 80,XXX original miles on it, and hadn't been run in 20 years.

We replaced the carpet, replaced a floorboard, and took the engine out, rebuilt it and repainted it.

Replaced the exhaust with 2" flowmaster, custom welded x pipe, (sounds amazing)

I also tinted the windows with 20% smoke, to give the mirrored look.

Headlights are on a vacuum seal, they retract into the grill.

Live up near maple grove/Elk River but i go to Mankato State

would not mind having one for myself, sounds like its in great shape too.

if it were mine, id have built kicks into the floor\fender\firewall area where it all meets. like welded some 1\4" sheet metal in place then put deadener over it all and cut a hole into the gap between the area where the floor board meets the firewall (usually hollow) to make them free air. get some nice 8" mids with some dust caps (as phase plugs and myself have had bad experiences with dust getting into the gap) and some horns under the dash for a stealth look. would be tight as hell.

i want a car like that some day.
