Very sad day. Hard to look back on sometimes. I remember the exact class I was in and everything when it happened. Teachers didn't say a word to any students until later in the day. Then the teachers said "there has been terrible news, maybe the worst world news you will ever hear of in your lifetime... maybe even the start to a new war"

They left us with just that... Made sure every teacher would not turn on their TV's in their classrooms and would not let students outside. I went home and found out then... and shit, the most dissapointing news ever. I can't believe 4 years have passed already. Everytime anything bad happens in the world today, we look back at 9/11 and compare to it.

Yeah... may god be with everyone for the 9/11. it was sad seeing people jump out the twin tower buildings and freefalling onto the streets.

I was in Basic training when it happened, it got pretty hectic for 2 weeks after that. I remeber them saying, "we don't know how to tell you this, so we'll just show you" then after we watched it, "you know what this means right?, It's time to go to war"

my uncle was supposed to be there. thats where his office is and when he is there his hotel was in the towers. the only reason he wasnt there is because he was staying home with his kids cause his wife randomly took off to greece.

my other uncle on my dads side works for the military (weapons design, dont know the technical name). his department was hit in the pentagon, but he wasnt there because the army ran over budget.

one of my teachers ex-girlfriends was on the 102nd floor of tower two, she never made it out.

my sisters friend missed her flight home that day. it was the first plane that hit.

i am very fortunate to not have lost anyone, but i know a few who did. it is such a terrible thing.
