Take an ad out in craigslist for a free dog. Just put something like you had to move out of town really fast, couldn't find a place for it, so it's there by itself. Just come pick it up out of the yard.

I have done it many times in the apartment complex I live in because of the thin walls and people being retards. Shit has never happened to me or my family. Hell the one lady moved out because the cops were threating to arrest her because she was such a problem, lol!

The last place I lived I got into a fist fight over some stupid shit becuase him and his girl would fawk non stop and bang the walls and at 230am it got to be so bad that he was knocking shit off my dresser, lol!

I had neighbours (lived in a side by side) that would play Rock Band till 5am everyday on full volume. My dishes would rattle from it. Called the cops one time but they never came.

get a white noise generator and blast it out your window to cancel the sound..

Install new windows that sound proof. Build a sound baffle wall along that side. insulate the house to muffle it. Move.

In short, there not much you can do by just complaining. There are ways to sound proof, but i bet you dont want to spend a penny.

And after all, you live in Jersey..what do you expect, is the dog disstracting you from the gun fire sounds?

well before you comment on my living sitiatio understand that when im paying for college since im going back, i dont have money for rent right now to get my own place...

also i lived in north jersey my whole life (union county - right next to newark/elizabeth/irvington) which is like the most populated spot in new jersey... i moved to south jersey which is like half as crowded, and i never had any problems up there compared to what i had down here....

and regaurdless of whether i was here or not it still bothers the shit out of my dad too, and he didnt just spend all this money, to get this..

When they first moved in downstairs (from the trailer park I assume), they were really loud, like talking at the top of their lungs, or watching tv with the volume on full blast...

One night at about 3am they were watching tv really loud, so I layed in the floor and repeated every word from the tv, at the top of my lungs... after about 10 seconds the tv was turned down to a reasonable volume...

They still do it every not and again, I just crank the volume on the stereo on full tilt for about 5-10 seconds and they get the idea...

Heres what I'd do, I'd call the cops and say everytime youre in the yard the dog lunges towards you in a threatening manner, be sure to file a complaint so you have something on record...

Then one day I'd be having a bbq, and maybe I'd walk the fence line with a t-bone and a knife? well, I hate ppl suggesting you hurt the dog. Its not the dogs fault. Its the owners fault.

Another thing to try is to put some REPEL all along that side of the fence near where the dog likes to be. It will drive him away to another part of the yard.

REPEL is some sort of dog repaellant, similar to mace. That will atleast get the dog to move away. I suggest also you not be seen doing it.
