Negative effects to oversize in wiring?

obviously when there are less amps passing through wires a larger wire will provide more resistance. Once you are drawing 2 or 3 hundered DC amps through a wire you would probably have to use something like 4 or 5/0 awg to see any drops in voltage at the end. I would definitly use at least 1/0 awg for 2200 watts. when drawing high amps using smaller wire could generate heat in the wire and you may end up with melted sheaths or worse, your car on fire.

We have them around here , the arsenal, and railroad ( main employers around here for decades)have good dental insurance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Fixed...kinda.
