Need some help.. Speakers keep cuttin on and off

Bigger wire something is not right thou if your melting 4 gauge wire with like 800 watts have you check your ground to ensure its tight on unpainted metal ? I always set my gain by ear but its not consider the best way Oscope is said to be the best way next is DMM with a rms chart just do a search and you will find it

Yea my ground wire is secure. Is there any other way to prevent overheating?

fans prevent overheating. amps dissipate heat via heat sinks which require moving air to function.

u need to double check the ground at the battery to the chassis if that one is loose you could have the same problem as having a bad ground at the amp
