Need information please

I have the opportunity to purchase a rockford fosgate punch RFP-1212 DVC special edition subwoofer. the cost to me will be 105$. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the special editions and could tell me the down/up sides to them. Is there anything really special to them ?

Yea really? Where did you get this or is someone filling you full of it? This si a new one. There is no such thing that i have heard.

From the looks it has special emblem and insignia. the housing is chrome or stainless steel or some dirivitive. I have seen it and it has the exact same specs as the normal RFP-1212s.
