Unfortunately the 6.5 coaxials that i bought for my Blazer's rear doors dont fit because the door is too shallow. Does anyone know the mounting depth of the 165ca's and the 130ca's?
Website says nothing, there is no way to make them fit, I would either cut into the door which will compromise its safety or mount it higher but then it would protrude out of the door panel and look ghetto.Originally posted by snova031 Did you check their website?
You may be able to get those to fit...you can take a piece of wood, and cut it to fit in the door, which will give you extra room for the depth...
Thanks for finding that for me. I might just get the 130's and get an adaptor to fit it to a 6.5" opening.Originally posted by outbacksport The 165 ca has a depth of 66.2 cm or 2.6" , the 130ca has a depth of 57.2 cm or 2.25"

You will need a spacer for the 6 1/2", i used 3/4" spacer made out of mdo
to fit in my subaru doors. How much space do you have in your doors by the way?
Measure them and offset it with a spacer to fit the speakers. You should also
check if it will hit the door panel when you replace it back. Good luck.
