need help w/ building box for 2 12" Kicker L7s

i am about to build a ported box for 2 12" kicker L7s for a 98 chevy lumina. i have to build the box to fit my trunk space. i need the box to be 34" W x 13" H x 30 D to get 3.25 square feet per chamber and port. does it matter where the port is? i think i might have problem with fitting the ports in the front of the box due to the lack of space. can anyone help me out with any advise or diagrams or anything... thanks in advance.
