Hey Guys,

I've got an Alpine 7893 head unit, Alpine CD Changer and a Sony Xplod 1004 (800 watt 4/3/2) amp.

The Sony Exploded and found a great deal at Circuit City on an Alpine MRV-F340 amp. I'm in the process of connecting it; however, I had a sense that the installers who installed the system took my money and ran...thus the Sony exploded in 9 months. The system kept kicking out; restarting worked for a while...then finally nothing audible was heard.

I've got 3 sets of speakers that need to be hooked up, in a Dodge Durango. Up front are a tweeter and midrange on each side. On the rear passenger doors is a 3-way on each side. In the rear wheel wells are one 3-way on each side.

The amp has Terminals for 4 channels. What's the best way to connect all 6? How might I best ensure that the wires aren't reversed without pulling out all the wiring?

The amp is under the rear seat. Does that create a circulation problem?

Thanks much for your suggestions.
