my friend has a 2 channel amp that he got for his mids/highs. what would be optimal settings for it. i'm not too familiar with tuning these amps.
I'm not sure what you mean.it's a rockford p 400-2 and will be powering 2 type r 6x9's. we have it wired at 2 channels at 4 ohms because he was like i don't wanna blow it so i was like alright sounds good. but i was just wondering what others' gains were set to
Ah okay, no problem then! I wasn't sure whether you just didn't know what you were talking about or if you had confused it for a filter (which is what i figured)in settings gains i really meant what to set the hpf at. sorry about that
Okay, for that I would set the Low Pass for the sub to like 85hz or so and then set the high pass on the speakers around 85 as well. That's a generally accepted crossover point.oh i'm sorry he has a kicker comp 10's for bass. but yeah he just wants his mids and highs through his 6x9's
