it never ceases to amaze me, they are on every car audio forum ......

I want an awesome setup for $500, all I can say is good luck. You will be lucky to get a good sub or 2 and amp OR a good 4 channel amp and component speakers for that.

You can build a very nice setup by buying used stuff on ebay. Some new and some old. No reason IMO to buy new amps. Pay half the price and get perfectly fine amps on ebay.
