You could try it no guarantees seen people on the thread with more but they are experienced with car audio and could care less if the sub burns up. Turn up the gains and boom no more sub! You will also have to upgrade electrical with 2000 watts w/o much of a gain in spl. I would stick with a amp your car can handle stock, and of course the big 3. Whats the loudest system you have heard? You dont want to spend money on a battery, distribution block, battery isolator, alternator, etc especially if your buying type r. I have nothing against type r; they are a good sub for the price, but there are better subs out there. Especially if your throwing that much power at it!
