two things...

do any of you have DLS equipment, preferably the Iridium 6.2's or 6.3's? i'd like to demo them and there are no dealers in the state (or anywhere around us for that matter!)

also, do any of you know of any audio shops in the state that specialize in SQ setups? all places in my area generally only deal with SPL setups and simple things that make me question whether or not they'd have the knowledge to build a good SQ setup...

id suggest doing it yourself, but if your not in a DYI mood, check the freemans shops. they do good work (at least the one near me does) and they can get you as SQ-ey as you want

yes...but for a very high price...and i also suggest doing it yourself..

i'm from western nc... in foothills.. boone close to me on west and hickory on the east .. i live in lenoir.

there is a freemans in hickory, but i've dealt with them several times before in the past and i don't think any of the guys there are capable of an SQ setup, either.

the reason i don't want to do it myself is i have practically NO experience with electronics (wiring,etc.), and i especially wouldn't have a clue as to how to construct or place things such as my kicks, etc.

audio exstacy in lenoir has several nice cars of their own, however, i have never seen what their customers cars look like, and they could look very different if you know what i mean... but definitly worth looking at, since they are right in your neighborhood. i was kind of unimpressed by the shop itself when i was there, but the work they did on their shop cars was pretty good stuff.

the freemans around the charlotte area are probably gonna be your best bet if youre willing ro drive. i go to school in western NC, and i can tell you, finding a shop in the area is going to be pretty tough, especially in the small towns like lenoir and hickory.

Yea the freeman's in charlotte do good work....and i have seen some of the work by the freeman's at lake norman, and they do good work as well...
