Pistons blew..and they blew HARD!!

It's not their fault when he'd hit a hard fallaway jumper but all he hit in the OT's were dunks and layups when the entire place knew it was going to him. That is a HUGE breakdown in defense and the Pistons have no one to blame but themselves!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I know the Pistons were going to lose to the Spurs anyways but there is no reason they shouldn't have beat Cleveland.

Props to the Cavs for making the Pistons look terrible down the stretch!!

FYI: THE SERIES IS NOT OVER YET !!!

Glad to see you're already giving up on them.

I never said it was...they do deserve to lose though. You can't put yourself in a hole OVER AND OVER again. It's just dumb.

Are the Pistons a better team??? Yes they are!

Are they proving it when it matters.....NOPE!!!!!

They better hope they can win game 6 on the road AGAIN in Cleveland but Cleveland had to go through a game 6 loss last year at home vs Detroit....I'm gonna be surprised if they have to go through it again!

i say in 2 year james will be on kobes level.
James is absolutely amazing
What the hell are you talking about? You do realize James is putting up better numbers than Bryant did when he first entered the league. I would have to say he is right there as far as talent and hell James is in the Eastern League Championship well Kobe is sitting at home......................again. James will eventually win MVP's and Kobe as many times as he has been an allstar has never been MVP for a season. He holds many other records, but he wasnt putting up big numbers till his 5th season in the league. James was doing it his first year. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I think Kobe is a great player and will go down as one of the best at scoring at will, but James is a better overall player, more a complete package and can win without other superstars to help him. Kobe needs another superstar to win the big one again or hell to advance in the playoffs.

I dont know why the pistons are being so lazy.
They are a 1 man team.
Did you actually watch the game or any of their games?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Besides last night, which was an amazing feet at what James did, the team has been there there most of the time. Gooden has played well through out playoffs and Daniel Gibson has been a huge surprise and if it wasnt for him or Donyell Marshall in game 3, we might have lost. Then Huges at any given time could do damage, but his injury is holding him back as of late. Then cant forget Z and what he does on th boards and he gives you 15 pts in the middle. They dont have James, but when James knows when he needs to take over, he does. I just wish he would have done it earlier and this series could have been over already .

No one really did anything for the cavs in game 5 besides LeBron though. I think Gooden had 7 points total when he fouled out. It's kind of hit or miss with the Cavs. Usually 1, maybe 2 players will do well in a game and the next game they'll be horrid. Gooden is on/off, Z is on/off (but still solid on boards), Gibson is still young and on/off but deff has a lot of potential for the future. He's still learning of couse. Pavlovic is on/off a lot as well. I think most of the players on the team have a lot of potential, but just can't bring everything they've got for everygame...or atleast most of the games. Solid team though, but without LeBron.....they'd be nothing. You make some good points though.

I see the Pistons winning game 6 :-(

Hopefully the Cavs can prove me wrong or take it in 7. I figured the Pistons would take the series (which they can still do because they're an awesome team), but I'd much rather see the Cavs in the Finals.

The Pistons' help defense needs some re-working for this game. I think LeBron showed that when he's focused, he is just so much more skilled and athletic than 99% of the players in the league. His first step was unbelievable last night, but the Pistons still could have won if Prince had some help.

I think if you have good help defense and can force Lebron to either shoot long fadeaways or dish the ball off, you're in a lot better position than letting Lebron drive past his man every single time for a dunk or a lay up.
