Expy, shut the **** up about the run n gun. Did you not notice the mavs shooting the ball with 15+ seconds left on the shot clock? Now keep in mind that run n gun doesn't = a lay up everytime. It's supposed to get you open shots, but when you aren't hitting those open shots, you must slow the offense down and try to create openings closer to teh rim by passing the ball.

Wrong.

They were in a "zone" making shoots feeling good.

Then the lineup changes and no more run and run type play..

None..

They had the momentum, then changed the script..

Then they started missing open shots..

That's it.. that was the game..

Jumpers, no more aggressiveness, jumpers and floops..

Not to mention some of the WORST play calls this side of the Mississippi for AJ.

and the Suns are the best in the league at Run and Gun, but played D in the 4th..

Didn't anyone else wonder why the Mavs didn't speed up the tempo for the remainder of the quarters..???

They did EXACTLY everything that has NOT worked for them all series long! Everything!

AJ should have recognized that the Run and Gun did work in the 1st and he should have implimented it every quarter for 4-5 minutes at least.

But that azzhole NEVER did it again. First time in 3 fuking games they played that style got quick results and he NEVER called for it again..

they didnt play run and gun because they were not the controlling team. they choked and got nervous. having a future star like wade being compared to Jordan, Shaq w/ 3 rings of experience and inpiration, and pat riley with 6 rings to add to the inspiration of a ring helps.
when the mavs learn to control the tempo when it counts they will win big, but not this year

Since you fail to see hte point. Shaq has already played against the Mavs, he had 2 fouls....the entire game!!!! Devin, Dirk, and Terry can drive to the rim all they want, Billups, Prince and Hamilton did the same. They are sitting at home right now. Shaq is a veteran player, he'll find a way to stay in the game, if he fouls out in game 1, he'll make an adjustment.

Just to add, if Howard guards Wade, who will stop Haslem and Walker? 6'2 Jason Terry or 6'3 Harris? Lol. I'm guessing they'll put Dirk on Haslem so he won't have to expend much energy. Miami has the best backup Center in the league even if Shaq does get into foul trouble. Also have Posey coming off hte bench, he's both a good defender and 3 pt shooter. 8 for 14 in the last series from downtown. You really need to do some research before running your mouth.
