Just because a player is avg. high minutes doesn't mean you are producing anything out on the court or helping your team in this series.
Wade's scoring and performance is boosting his team while Dirk looks lost and his team is following him.

There is no other option I can see, they must wear out the Heat enough to pull away in the 4th.

Get the fouls on Shaq early, make Wade sit because of his fouls, force Miami to turn the ball over 20+ times, and capitalize on the plays.

Now if you have been watching the game Dallas has tried to take Shaq out with fouls, but they stop at 4 and let Wade stay in with 4-5, for extended times.

When Wade has 5 fouls you should run at him EVERY play until he fouls out.. He is a liability..

You can't double two players regardless.

Let's say Shaq has the ball, and they double him, he passes out to Wade and they switch the double team over to Wade on the other side of the court. Somebody is going to be wide open for a dunk. No way in hell they could rotate fast enough.

I'm posting this one last post and then not even bothering to reply to you anymore. You dumb ****. Dallas has been outplayed in Games 1,3,& 4. But I guess a 24 pt victory doesn't mean you were outplayed. Dallas has been outrebounded in 3 of 4 games as well. The only thing Dallas is doing better than Miami, is controlling hte ball. Miami has been turning the ball over a lot.

Doubled Duncan then he would pass to Gino, then Howard and Terry would go to Gino..

Sure Duncan broke out and scored a crap load, but it Kept Gino outta the SA series..

I was serious about Dampier and Diop in at the Same time, with shooters spreading the floor..

Then Shaq is a non factor in scoring and it Keeps Wade outta the Lanes, so they are a Jump Shooting team..

San Antonio won 3 rings that way, why not do it, HELL AJ was one the team when they ran the Twin Towers defense..

umm... dallas WON game 1.
they could have easily won game 3 if they shot better in the last minutes (nowitzki's free throw, the shot wade blocked... and, if i remember correctly, one more opportunity which was squandered by the mavs)

Just because you win a game doesn't mean you outplayed the other team. Miami was in that game until the last 3:27 and could have taken the lead if it wasn't for a shitload of missed ft's and two missed wide open 3 ptrs in the last 5 min. I think they were 6-17 from the line in that game.

Yes, game 3 was a complete meltdown for the Mavs down the stretch. And if they end up losing the finals it will probably mean the end for Avery Johnson. He's had way too many chances to win a title there and when they finally get to the finals he lets them meltdown like that. And who calls a low percentage lob play at the end of a game like that.?? They would have had a much better chance at tying that game with a catch and shoot. But I guess thats why I'm not coaching the Mavs and he is.

i can't remember... was a time out called before that play?
if so, you can place some blame on AJ... but if not... then thats just how the play worked out... basketball is largely about improvisation, and sometimes it doesn't work.

but no... if the mavs lose the finals i think cuban will keep AJ around... this is the farthest they've made it into the playoffs, and he's behind their turnaround from the Don Nelson days... he's a good coach based on what he's done so far, regardless of what happens from here on out.
